St. Thomas More Academy was founded in 1989 with the explicit purpose of providing a traditional Catholic education for students in grades Kindergarten through twelve. The four pillars of love and reverence for Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, love of our Blessed Mother, obedience to the Church's Magisterium, and firm adherence to the Tradition of the Church provide daily spiritual nourishment and support for the Academy's teaching mission.
For a Catholic education to be traditional, it must embrace and teach the Truth revealed by Jesus Christ as faithfully transmitted through the ages by the Holy Roman Catholic Church. Furthermore, the truths of the Catholic Faith must permeate the entire curriculum for the traditional Catholic education to be complete.
We support the teachings of the Magisterium, our Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI, & Vatican II.
