CARDINAL NEWMAN GUIDE RECOMMENDED

St. Thomas More is honored to now be accredited by the Cardinal Newman Society. On May 28, 2026, St. Thomas More Academy was recognized as a Cardinal Newman recommended school and listed in the Cardinal Newman Guide. This means we are the first school in the Diocese of Lansing and only the third in the state of Michigan to receive this prestigious ranking. What is a Cardinal Newman recommended school? A Cardinal Newman recommended school is one that sincerely "promotes and defends faithful Catholic education." It is no easy feat to obtain this rank.
